This Post Graduate Diploma programme has been designed especially for the students who are keen to make their career in the field of Electronic Media. The programme offers courses which provide insight about working of Radio and Television industry in the country. Moreover, it aims to develop student’s proficiency in the skills like audio-visual script writing, camera handling, and video editing. Though a balance between theoretical and practical knowledge has been maintained during the designing of the syllabus, still the prime focus has been kept to enhance the working skills of the students. For this purpose project work has been made mandatory for the aspirants of electronic media professionals. The programme opens the roads for a student to become a Radio or Television Programme Producer, Script Writer, Content Generator for new media, Cinematographer, Video Editor or a YouTuber. The PG diploma programme targets to enable students to meet the challenges in the contemporary electronic media industry.
