Diploma in Development Communication

The aim of this programme is to introduce students to different approaches and concepts of development. After completing this programme, students will be able to become aware of social movements and media interaction.

Definitions and needs of development have also changed with the changing times. Society has also become more dynamic than before. Through this programme, students will be able to develop their theoretical and practical knowledge and skills and prepare themselves for the needs of developmental communication. Assess the important role of communication in the process of development.

In this programme, students will be introduced to the nuances of audio-visual communication in the context of development communication. The project work will be explained through the process of social change and the practical use of media. A project work will be carried out on any subject, which will make the students proficient in developmental communication, making them aware of the problems of rural and urban development. Also, will prepare them to make meaningful interventions in policy making.
