Haridev Joshi University in collaboration with UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) and in coordination with Lok Samvad Sansthan is organizing a four month project on building the capacities of budding journalism students on developing media stories with gender lens. The project will start with a two-day capacity building workshop of a batch of 35 selected students on 10th-11th August 2023 followed by mentorship for around 3 to 4 months. The training and mentorship will be provided by the experts in the area of media and gender. The students will also be given opportunities for exposure visit and a basic stipend of Rs. 2000 per month. After completion of the project the students with at least 90% percentage attendance will be provided with certificates.

All journalism and mass communication students from all streams can apply for this project.
